Fateful Fall

What makes this book special to you?
The best thing about Fateful Fall is the relationship the Worthington Investigators share as close friends. It really makes this book special. They work and live together almost like sisters.
What book are you reading now?
I’m in the middle of Jaime Jo Wright’s The Curse of Misty Wayfair. Love it!
What do you do when you're not writing?
I have one crazy, busy life. If I’m not writing I’m remodeling, painting, or decorating something right now.
What is the hardest part about writing?
As a writer, the hardest thing is making yourself sit down to write. I have no problem scheduling writing time, but making myself actually put the first sentence on the page can sometimes be near impossible.
What is the spiritual takeaway for your reader?
With God, we can change.
Is there anything edgy/possibly controversial in your book? If so tell us what that is.
This book deals with antisemitism and it’s ugly hold on some people.
What is your hero's main character flaw?
Cory Mortel doesn’t ever want to get close to anyone again.
What is your heroine's main character flaw?
Ava Worthington is having a hard time forgiving her father. She worked for him in his construction business before Worthington Investigations took off, and she always felt he patronized her and didn't believe she was capable of doing her job right or well.
What can readers learn from your villain?
Any form of prejudice is against God. He loves all and wants us to love everyone and treat them equally.
What makes your hero heroic?
Cory Mortel might be quiet and he may have a small circle of friends but he’s loyal to a fault to those he trusts. He would do almost anything to protect them.
what makes your heroine heroic?
Ava Worthington is like a momma bear when it comes to her family and friends. She’ll protect them and care for them no matter what.
