Congratulations on your new release.

What makes this book special to you?
While I enjoy writing each of my books and they are special to me, Taming Julia is one that was written with a couple months, and I had so much fun developing my heroine. She is full of quirks.
What book are you reading now?
I'm currently reading Serving Up Love by Tracie Peterson, Karen Witemeyer, Regina Jennings and Jen Turano.
What is your next project?
I actually have two books in the work – the sequel to Taming Julia as well as a new series set in Shippensburg, PA in the 1870s about belonging.
Do you have advice for other writers?
Stay true to the calling God has given you. The path isn't always the way we choose, but we can trust Him to bring about advancement of our career in His timing.
What is the spiritual takeaway for your reader?
We can trust God to be working in our lives.
Is there anything edgy/possibly controversial in your book?
Jules killed a man a year prior, and there's a brief description of it.
What is your hero's main character flaw?
He struggles to be in control of his situation, future, and his wife.
What is your heroine's main character flaw?
She has a knack for making a mess out of situations.
What can readers learn from your villain?
They can learn it's never too late to come to faith in God and accepting Him as your personal Savior.
What makes your hero heroic?
Even though Jules is nothing what Drew wanted in a wife, he's willing to do whatever it takes to let her know she is God's gift to him.
what makes your heroine heroic?
She's willing to do whatever it takes to save her loved ones, even if it means giving up her own life.
