Welcome Lisa Lickel

How did you come up with your title?
The title is a takeoff from the first book in the series, Everything About You, which was the title of the movie film set where the main characters, Danny and Shelly, met and fell in love.
What makes this book special to you?
I enjoy the challenge of creating a whole story in a short time frame. Novellas are more like long short stories, and I enjoyed revisiting the characters from the first book in the series to come back together and help each other achieve their desires.
What book are you reading now?
I’m reading through Clare Revell’s Flowers Can Be Fatal series–an absolute delight.
Do you have advice for other writers?
Be consistent and persistent, aspiring and seasoned authors. Keep learning and perfecting your craft, and believe in yourself. Find joy.
What is the spiritual takeaway for your reader?
Be truthful in thought and deed to shine your faith.
What is your hero’s main character flaw?
Danny feels he has to give Shelly the life he thinks she’s accustomed to in order for her to agree to marry him.
What is your heroine’s main character flaw?
Shelly is worried she’s not good enough and fears Danny won’t trust her if she can’t take care of her own problems.
What can readers learn from your villain?
The imagery of power over others is fleeting.
What makes your hero heroic?
He is willing to be part of a team effort to help others.
what makes your heroine heroic?
She is willing to demonstrate her faithfulness through working alongside others.
Tell Us Anything You Feel is Relevant.
