Matthew 1:23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
Christmas in My Soul
Christmas is always with me
Jesus lives in my heart
Heaven came down
A baby brings salvation
Angels sing Gloria to the King
Shepherds follow a star
Magi journey and bow
Holy, holy, holy
Hallelujah, glory to God
Praise in song abounds
Emmanuel, God with us
Christ the Savior is born
The Light of heaven
The Living Word
Rejoice and exalt Him
Sing glorious psalms of old
Christ, the ever-living Lord
Come, let us adore Him
Jesus came to save
Christmas is in my soul.
I like to think that all characters in my Christmas stories believe Jesus came down and is in their hearts. That means Christmas is in their hearts every day. Such an idea comes naturally to Violet in A Cup of Christmas Kindness. She and Heath’s daughter Charlotte remind him of that good news.
