I love Christmas and everything about it. The lights, the decorating, the baking, the tree… There are so many special things we do together as a family this time of year, from lighting our Advent wreath each Sunday and praying together, to decorating the house with lights, to the candlelight service on Christmas Eve, to our special Christmas tree tradition. Each year we decorate with ornaments that represent something significant from that year. A special vacation, a birth, a graduation… As the years go by, the tree tells our family story.
In Saved by a Christmas Angel, Lauren feels the same way about Christmas. She’s been dealt a difficult hand and plans to spend Christmas only with God, but with all her traditions intact. Justin crashes into her life and her plans for a quiet Christmas are shattered. Instead, God uses her to show Justin what Christmas is really about.
What are some special traditions you celebrate at Christmastime? Let’s focus this year on the ones which draw us closer to God and to others. May God bless you and your family this Christmas!
