This Nativity is made of painted rocks. It was painted and given to me by my friend and neighbor, Becky Bishop. We searched high and low for local rocks to paint, and the hardest one to find was the rock which Baby Jesus is painted on – we needed a small oval rock and they are not common in our area, even in the river beds. To this day, when we see small, oval rocks, we will yell, "Oh, look! It's a Baby Jesus rock!"
